Carl Martin, Tla-o-qui-aht traditional canoe carver will be giving a 10-day workshop beginning September 15,  daily, 316 Main Street in Tofino.  He has built over 30 canoes and worked on countless projects that have included house poles, totem poles, paddles, and traditional fishing tools.

STORY TELLING is part of the Festival:   Legends through carving and oral traditions are shared by historians, carvers, elders, and youth throughout the festival.

HANDS ON CARVING WORKSHOPS at the Festival:  Carver and teacher, Pete Ashbee of Ucluelet helps future carver and enthusiast.
